This web site utilises a proactive interrogation system to assist you in choosing an appliance that is suitable for your needs. If you already know the model number that you require, key this into the white box on the main search page to quickly see the dishwasher's features and price, as well as a picture if available.
The interrogation system offers you the following choices, provided of course that machines with these features have not been ruled out by your initial selections:
Build
Freestanding dishwashers are built to stand independently in a kitchen or utility room and do not need to be located in a cabinet system.
Fully integrated dishwashers are designed to allow a cabinet door and plinth to be fixed to the front of the unit, enabling it to be built in to an existing fitted kitchen system. They are usually fitted under a work surface and are fully hidden from view, the controls typically being located on the top edge of the door. Integrated dishwashers do not usually require a housing unit or outer casing.
Semi integrated dishwashers are designed to allow a cabinet door and plinth to be fixed to the front of the unit, enabling it to be built in to an existing fitted kitchen system. They are usually fitted under a work surface and are semi-hidden from view, showing just the control panel at the kitchen's drawer-line. Integrated dishwashers do not usually require a housing unit or outer casing.
Size
Although there are small differences between manufacturers, 'standard width' machines are normally 600mm (just over 23 inches) wide.
Any dishwasher that is obviously narrower than 600mm is referred to as 'slimline'. An increasing number of dishwashers are being manufactured to a width of 450mm, to be fitted into a smaller recesses.
Table-top dishwashers are small and typically located on a kitchen worktop. They are usually capable of being plumbed directly into the water supply in the same manner as larger dishwashers.
Placings
This refers to the number of place settings (at a typical dinner party) that the dishwasher can hold in each load. It is a good guide to the dishwasher's capacity.
Make
Select your preferred manufacturer, or choose 'Any' to view all the different makes of dishwasher that otherwise meet your criteria.
Colour
Although manufacturers often use specific and sometimes confusing names to describe their colour options (such as Natural Linen, Zircon and Anthracite), we have simplified all colour names (in the case of the above; to beige, silver and black). It is hoped that this method is of benefit to our customers but please refer to the detail pages or to our qualified sales personal if you are in doubt as to the true colour of a dishwasher. Please also note that where a photograph of a particular dishwasher is not available, a picture of the same model in a different colour may be substituted. This does not mean that the model you order will be incorrect.
