Stop and Go function
With the Stop and Go function the power level of all zones in use is automatically reduced to the lowest setting. This allows you to leave the kitchen for brief periods, e.g. to answer the door.

Extended and vario cooking zone
Some hobs offer zones which extend up to 29 cm in length, to accommodate oval casserole dishes and fish kettles. Also Vario cooking zones where pans of different sizes can be used on the same zone.
HiLight elementsDue to the extremely short heat-up time of the HiLight elements, cooking times are considerably reduced. At the same time, heat is evenly distributed.
Sensor controls
Individual functions and heat levels are easily selected by simply touching the sensor controls.




INDUCTION HOBS
DirectSelection and DirectSelection plus.
DirectSelection offers intuitive controls located centrally at the front of the hob with a linear numerical keypad for power settings and duration. DirectSelection plus offers the same functionality as DirectSelection but with controls for each cooking zone.
Pan size recognition
A zone will only heat up when a suitable magnetic pan is placed on it. The size of the pan is recognised, and heat is only generated where the pan is detected, saving energy and time.

Ice
A stylish new colour and design. This 90cm induction hob co-ordinates perfectly with Miele ICE appliances.
Con@ctivity
Con@ctivity is an innovative system which enables hobs and cooker hoods to communicate with one another to ensure the cooker hood operates at the most appropriate setting at all times.




GAS HOBS
Variety
Gas is the purest form of energy and enables immediate use of heat as well as precise heat regulation. Miele‚s range of gas hobs come in a variety of widths and configurations, so you are spoilt for choice
Hob Finish
Miele gas hobs have a stainless steel trough or a black ceramic glass flush surface and enamelled cast iron supports for a professional finish.

Thermo-electric ignition
All gas hobs feature a thermo-electric ignition safety device, which ensures that the gas supply to the appliance is interrupted if the flame is ever extinguished.
Cast iron pot rests
Miele’s cast iron pot rests are not only durable and robust, but also stylish and easy to look after, adding a professional designer look to the range
Work burners
Some hobs feature either a mono wok or a dual wok burner. A mono wok burner has a single flame ring, whilst a dual wok burner has a large outer flame ring with a smaller flame ring within it.
